I’m Xavier, a writer living in Fish Hoek, South Africa.

After twenty years of walking with the young people of South Africa as a teacher, youth pastor, school chaplain and Director of Scripture Union’s ministry to the Independent church schools of South Africa, I chose to begin a new adventure by working from home to support my wife in her work as a graphic designer (I cover the website development part) and be available for our two kids as they navigate their teen years.
Along the way I graduated with a BA, BTH and PGCE from the University of KwaZulu – Natal and completed a qualification from Red and Yellow in digital marketing.
I’m currently the managing editor of Scripture Union South Africa’s online magazine (SU Mag), the Head Course writer for TEE college’s Higher Certificate in Youth Ministry and the founder and facilitator of the RFM Advance. I’m also part of the youth leadership team at Fish Hoek Methodist Church.
